Bell Bank’s Detroit Lakes branch started as a mortgage loan office but opened as a full-service bank in 2005. The branch is centrally located in downtown Detroit Lakes near Washington Square mall.

Bartholomay Construction completed a two-phased interior remodel of the branch in May 2022. The branch remained in full service throughout the construction period.
