Ronald McDonald House of the Red River Valley has been providing families with a home away from home since 1982. Their facility provides accommodation for families with critically ill children, particularly when they are traveling far distances.

In January of 2022, Bartholomay Construction, Inc. completed a 7-guest room expansion of the facility in collaboration with Foss Architecture, allowing RMHC to serve a total of 24 families. The expansion allows families to set aside the worries that come with seeking medical care away from home so they can focus on getting their child healthy.
